Human Rights Society

The Human Rights Society is a student-initiated organization supported by the Korea University Graduate School of International Studies. We work to spread awareness and discuss global human rights issues. Our activities include member-led presentations, roundtable discussions, and critical analysis of current human rights issues, media, and policies.we do activities every Tuesday 5pm in #331 Int’l Studies Hall.

East Asia Society

The East Asia Society is for students who are interested in learning and sharing knowledge related to East Asia in any field, including politics, economy, and culture. In this society, we encourage students to speak up and share their thoughts. We will hold meetings and conduct activities on a weekly basis. During the meetings, students can give voluntary presentations regarding any issue related to East Asia. Other than presentations, we will also organize activities such as movie nights, weekend picnics, and more. we do activities every thursday 5:30 pm in #218 Int’l Studies Hall.

EU Society

The EU Society welcomes GSIS/DIS students interested in Europe and the EU, offering a space to learn, engage, and connect. Our goal is to foster interest and expand knowledge about Europe through student-led discussions, interactive activities, EU delegation visits, and other interesting outings! If you're curious about the EU and looking to meet fellow students, join us! we do activities every wednesday 5pm in #324 Int’l Studies Hall.

 

 

 

Society for Climate Change and Sustainable Development

Passionate about the environment? Curious about climate change? Want to make a difference? The Society for Climate Change and Sustainable Development (SCCSD) is the perfect place for you! We’ll have exciting weekly meetings with: Lively discussions on pressing environmental issues, Insightful seminars on climate change and sustainability, Interactive activities like eco-games with prizes, movie nights, picnics, and an end-of-semester dinner party!

 

 

 

Southeast Asia Society

The Southeast Asia Society (SEAS) is for Korea University students interested in the Southeast Asian region, including its culture, arts, politics, economy, current issues, and more. You will have the opportunity to present on a topic of your choice and lead an active discussion with the society's members. You are also welcome to just come and listen to the presentations! Take this opportunity to present and lead a discussion on your favorite topic related to Southeast Asia, meet new friends, enjoy some snacks and have fun!

 

 

 

Latin America Society (LAS)

The Latin America Society is a space to learn about the culture, art, pressing issues, politics, and much more of this fascinating region. We will meet each week to learn through games and group activities, short Spanish and Portuguese 101 sessions led by native speakers, interesting presentations, and lively discussions. We also organize a small End-of-Semester Party. Members are invited to present about any topic related to Latin America. This is not mandatory, so you are welcome to join our meetings out of curiosity and start your week with a fun cultural experience and, of course, meet new friends! If you dream about traveling to Latin America one day, this could be the place to start and build the knowledge and culture skills to prepare you for future adventures.we do activities every monday 5pm in #436 Int’l Studies Hall.

 

 

 

Korean Studies Society (KSS)

The Korean Studies Society is an open space for freely discussing and sharing opinions on a wide range of issues happening both in and outside of Korea.Are you interested in Korea and Korean Studies? We hold engaging sessions, discussions, and networking opportunities! we do activites every Thursday 5pm in #331 Int’l Studies Hall.
