Certificate Programs: East Asia, Europe, Korea, Human Rights and Digital Commerce

• 1. 해당 과목 중 3과목 이상(9학점 이상) 수강하여 평균 GPA 4.0 이상일 경우 수여
  KU GSIS will award the certificates to students who have received over 4.0 in GPA in 3 or more courses listed in the table below.
• 2. 절차: 국제대학원 행정실에 신청서 제출→검토 후 승인→수료증 수여
  • (신청서 제출은 추후 공지된 기간 내에 가능)
  Submit an application(GSIS Administration Office)→Approval→Issuance of Certificate
  • (Application is only possible during the designated application period.)

※ 해당 인증 프로그램은 졸업자격요건을 충족한 학생들만을 대상으로 합니다.
This certificate program is applied only to students who complete all the requirement for graduation.

Certificate of Completion in East Asian Studies

• 아래 과목 중 3과목 이상 (9학점 이상) 수강하여 해당 과목의 평균 학점이 4.0 이상일 경우 Certificate of Completion in East Asia 수여
• KU GSIS will award students, who have received over 4.0 in average GPA in 3 or more courses below, with the Certificate of Completion in East Asia.

Certificate of Completion in European Studies

• 아래 과목 중 3과목 이상 (9학점 이상) 수강하여 해당 과목의 평균 학점이 4.0 이상일 경우 Certificate of Completion in Europe 수여
• KU GSIS will award students, who have received over 4.0 in average GPA in 3 or more courses below, with the Certificate of Completion in Europe Studies.

Certificate of Completion in Korean Studies

• 아래 과목 중 3과목 이상 (9학점 이상) 수강하여 해당 과목의 평균 학점이 4.0 이상일 경우 Certificate of Completion in Korea 수여
• KU GSIS will award students, who have received over 4.0 in average GPA in 3 or more courses below, with the Certificate of Completion in Korean Studies.

Korean Studies courses below can be regarded as Area Studies course for foreign students in International Studies major.

Certificate of Completion in Human Rights Studies

• 아래 과목 중 3과목 이상 (9학점 이상) 수강 (타 과 과목 1과목까지 교차수강 가능) 하여 해당 과목의 평균 학점이 4.0 이상일 경우 Certificate of Completion in Human Rights 수여 (‘국제인권’ 수강 필수, 그 외 과목은 담당교수와 협의 후 결정)
• KU GSIS will award students, who have received over 4.0 in average GPA in 3 or more courses below, with the Certificate of Completion in Human Rights Studies.
  (It is compulsory to take 'Human Rights in Global and Regional context’ course. If you want to count the course which are not in the below table even though the course is related to human rights, you need to discuss with Prof. Soh ChangRok first.)

Certificate of Completion in Digital Commerce

• 아래 과목 중 3과목 이상 (9학점 이상) 수강하여 해당 과목의 평균 학점이 4.0 이상일 경우 Certificate of Completion in Digital Commerce 수여
• (KU GSIS will award students, who have received over 4.0 in average GPA in 3 or more courses below, with the certificate of Completion in Digital Commerce.)
  
  *2024년 9월 기준, 3/4학기생이 디지털통상 지원금을 받는 경우, 예외적으로 디지털통상 주제로 논문 작성 의무만 있으며, 수료증 수여는 선택사항으로 디지털통상 관련 과목 9학점 이수할 때만 가능
  (As of September 2024, in the case of third or fourth semester students receiving digital commerce grants, there is an exceptional requirement to write a thesis on the topic of digital commerce.
  The issuance of a certificate is optional and only possible upon the completion of 9 credits in subjects related to digital commerce.)
  
  ** 박사학위과정의 이수증 수여요건은 석사학위과정과 동일
  (The requirements of the issuance of a certificate in the doctoral program are the same as those in the master's program.)

CAMPUS Asia Joint Certificate in Risk Management

• 캠퍼스아시아 프로그램의 복수학위생 혹은 교환학생은 캠퍼스아시아 컨소시엄(고려대, 고베대, 후단대)이 지정한 위기관리 과목을 9학점 이상 취득 하여야 함.
• Double Degree or Exchange Program students of the CAMPUS Asia Program should receive 9 or more credits among the courses designated as risk management courses by the CAMPUS Asia consortium universities (Korea, Kobe, and Fudan University)

• 캠퍼스아시아 프로그램의 복수학위생 혹은 교환학생은 본교(고려대)와 파견학교(고베대 혹은 푸단대)에서 각각 1과목 이상을 수강하고(총 9학점 이상 취득) 위기관리과목에서 평균 GPA 4.0 이상을 달성해야만 해당 증서를 수여 받을 수 있음
• A student should earn credits from both of the universities – from Home University(Korea University) and the Host University(Kobe or Fudan University), and receive over 4.0 in GPA for the risk management courses below.
  • Things to note:
    • Kobe University: 1 course = 2credits
    • Fudan University: 1 course = 3 credits
