석사 신입생 공통과목 면제시험 신청 안내
1. 응시 자격: 2025 후기 석사과정 신입생 중 국제대학원 석사과정 공통과목(응시과목)과 유사한 과목을 학부에서 수강한 자로서, 본 시험에 신청 후에 응시 대상자로 선정된 자
2. 시험 신청
1) 신청 기간: 2026년 2월 13일(금) - 20일(금)
2) 응시 대상자 발표: 2026년 2월 23(월), 개별 이메일 통보
3) 응시과목: 국제경영, 국제경제, 국제정치 중 1과목 또는 2과목
* 한국학과 세부전공자는 한국근대사만 선택 가능
4) 제출 서류:
- 공통과목 면제시험 신청서(첨부양식)
- 학부 이수 교과목 강의계획안
- 전적대학 성적표
5) 신청 방법: 제출 서류 구비하여 신청 기간 내에 이메일(gsis@korea.ac.kr)
3. 시험 정보
1) 시험일시: 2026년 2월 26일(목) 13:30, 75분 간
2) 시험장소: 국제관(응시 대상자 발표 메일에 구체적 장소 안내 예정)
3) 합격점: 80점(100점 만점)
* PASS(P)로 성적표기되며 평점평균에는 미포함
4) 시험결과 발표: 2026년 3월 3일(화) 17:00 (예정, 개별 이메일 통보)
5) 응시료: 없음
4. 유의사항
1) 본 시험은 반드시 응시해야 하는 시험이 아니므로, 응시하지 않거나 합격하지 않을 경우에는 1-2학기 중에 공통선택 과목을 수강하면 됨
2) 오프라인으로 시행하므로, 오프라인 응시 가능자만 신청 가능함
3) 시험을 신청했더라도 응시 대상자로 선정이 되지 않으면 응시불가
4) 입학 직전 1회만 응시 가능, 입학 첫 학기에 휴학할 경우 복학하는 학기에 응시 불가
5. 학석사연계생의 공통과목 면제: 아래 교과를 이수한 학석사연계생은 공통과목 면제시험 응시 없이 면제 가능
1) 대상 과목: 학부 국제통상원론(대학원 국제경제로 인정), 학부 국제관계원론(대학원 국제정치로 인정)
2) 인정 방법: 면제시험 신청 기간에 성적표, 강의계획서 첨부하여 gsis@korea.ac.kr로 인정 요청 메일 발송
Notice on Core Course Waiver Examination for Freshmen
1.Eligibility
This examination is open to Fall 2025 Master’s program incoming students of the Graduate School of International Studies who have completed undergraduate courses similar to GSIS Core Courses (examination subjects) and who are selected as eligible examinees after submitting an application for this examination.
2.Application Information
Application Period:February 13 (Fri) – February 20 (Fri), 2026.
Announcement of Eligible Examinees.:February 23 (Mon), 2026 (Individual notification via email).
Examination Subjects (Choose one or two):International Business, International Economics, International Politics.
*Students with a Korean Studies concentration may select Korean Modern History only.
Required Documents:Application Form for Common Course Exemption Examination (attached form), syllabi of completed undergraduate courses, official undergraduate transcript.
Application Method:Submit all required documents via email to gsis@korea.ac.kr within the application period.
3. Examination Details
Date & Time. February 26 (Thu), 2026, 13:30 (75 minutes)
Venue:International Studies Hall. Detailed location will be provided in the email announcing eligible examinees.
Passing Score:80 points out of 100.
*Results will be recorded as PASS (P) and will not be included in the GPA.
Result Announcement:March 3 (Tue), 2026, 17:00 (Tentative, individual email notification).
Examination Fee:
None.
4. Important Notes
This examination is not mandatory. Students who do not take the exam or do not pass may complete the required common elective courses during their first or second semester.
The examination will be conducted offline only. Only students who can attend in person may apply.
Even if an application is submitted, students who are not selected as eligible examinees will not be allowed to take the exam.
The examination may be taken only once prior to admission. Students who take a leave of absence during their first semester after admission are not eligible to take the exam upon return.5. Common Course Exemption for Combined Bachelor’s–Master’s Program Students.
Students in the combined Bachelor’s–Master’s program who have completed the following courses may be exempt from common courses without taking the examination.
Eligible Courses:Undergraduate Introduction to International Commerce (Recognized as International Economics at the graduate level), Undergraduate Introduction to International Relations (Recognized as International Politics at the graduate level).
Exemption Request Method:During the exemption examination application period,
send an email to gsis@korea.ac.kr with the official transcript and course syllabi attached to request exemption recognition.
