Once the final grades for the 1st semester of the 2025 academic year are confirmed, the graduation review process will begin for students expected to graduate in February 2026.




Mid-January:


The graduation review notice will be sent to your registered email address (as listed in your academic records). (Administrative Office → Students)



End of January:


If you wish to change how your name appears on your Korean/English diploma (especially to remove hyphens or commas), you must request this in advance. (Students → Administrative Office)


Please verify your name (both in Korean and English) via:

KU Portal (KUPID) → Registration/Graduation → University Registration → University Registration Inquiries → English Name


Name Change :

Send an email to office (gsis@korea.ac.kr) with the following information:

a. Student ID / b. Full name in Korean / Full name in English (refer to guidelines below)


English Name Guidelines:

Your name must match the passport exactly, including spelling.

Examples: HONG GIL DONG / HONG, GILDONG / HONG, Gil-dong

Application for Certificate Program of Area Studies and Human Rights and Digital Commerce



KU GSIS will award the certificates to students who have received average GPA 4.0 or more in 3 or more courses listed in the table at the attachment below and submit the application form. 


Eligible students : Those who receive the “Graduation Confirmed” email after the graduation review


Application period : From late January to Friday, February 6
