CAMPUS Asia Plus Program Briefing Session for Spring 2027
The CAMPUS Asia Program at the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS), Korea University is pleased to announce a briefing session for students interested in the CAMPUS Asia Plus Program for Spring 2027.
Korea University GSIS has been implementing the CAMPUS Asia Program since 2011 in collaboration with Kobe University in Japan and Fudan University in China. Since 2021, the program has expanded into the CAMPUS Asia Plus Program, establishing cooperation with Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and the National University of Laos.
We are currently in the extended semester of Phase 3, which will end at the end of the Fall 2026 semester. As the official starting date of Phase 4 has not yet been confirmed (either Spring 2027 or Fall 2027), students dispatched in Spring 2027 for exchange or dual-degree programs may not be eligible for CAMPUS Asia scholarships during their studies if Phase 4 does not begin in Spring 2027.
However, under the existing MOUs with Kobe University and Fudan University, students can still be dispatched as regular exchange students in Spring 2027 with a tuition waiver, although CAMPUS Asia scholarship support may not be available during this period.
Once Phase 4 officially begins, CAMPUS Asia scholarship support will resume. In addition, students dispatched to Kobe University may be eligible to receive the JASSO scholarship, provided by Kobe University, of approximately JPY 80,000 per month during their exchange period.
Therefore, students interested in the CAMPUS Asia Plus Program are encouraged to attend this briefing session to receive detailed information about the current program status and potential updates.
At the session, professors from Kobe University and Fudan University will join via Zoom/video to introduce their respective programs. A student who recently returned from Kobe University will also share recent experiences from the exchange program, including practical information, experiences, and photos.

- Non-Korean students who are willing to cover expenses other than tuition fees
Eligibility and destination universities will be determined based on students' motivation, study plans, and the vision, mission, and funding sources of the CAMPUS Asia Plus Program.

The administrative section will be explained in Korean, with English handouts provided.

CAMPUS Asia Plus 프로그램 설명회 안내
고려대학교 국제대학원은 일본 고베대학교 및 중국 후단대학교와 공동으로 CAMPUS Asia 프로그램을 운영하고 있으며, 2021년부터는 태국 쭐라롱꼰대학교 및 라오스국립대학교와의 협력을 통해 CAMPUS Asia Plus 프로그램으로 확대 운영하고 있습니다.
현재 CAMPUS Asia는 3단계 연장학기를 운영하고 있으며, 2026년 2학기 종료와 함께 3단계가 종료될 예정입니다. 그러나 4단계의 공식 시작 시점(2027년 1학기 또는 2학기)은 아직 확정되지 않았습니다.
이에 따라 2027년 1학기에 교환학생 또는 복수학위 과정으로 파견되는 학생의 경우, 4단계가 2027년 1학기에 시작되지 않을 경우 일정 기간 동안 CAMPUS Asia 장학금 지원 없이 등록금 면제(tuition waiver)만 지원될 가능성이 있습니다.
다만, 고베대학교 및 후단대학교와의 기존 MOU가 유지되고 있어 2027년 1학기에도 일반 교환학생으로 파견이 가능하며, 등록금 면제(tuition waiver)를 지원받을 수 있습니다.
4단계가 공식적으로 시작되면 CAMPUS Asia 장학금 지원이 재개될 예정입니다. 또한 고려대학교 측 CAMPUS Asia 프로그램의 재개 여부와 관계없이, 고베대학교 파견 학생의 경우 고베대학교를 통해 JASSO 장학금(월 약 8만 엔)을 지원받을 수 있습니다.
따라서 CAMPUS Asia Plus 프로그램에 관심 있는 학생들은 이번 설명회에 참석하여 현재 프로그램 운영 상황 및 향후 변경사항에 대한 자세한 안내를 받으시기 바랍니다.
이번 설명회에는 고베대학교 및 후단대학교 교수님이 Zoom/Video를 통해 참여하여 각 대학의 프로그램을 소개할 예정이며, 최근 고베대학교 파견을 마치고 돌아온 학생이 현지에서의 생생한 경험과 유용한 정보를 공유할 예정입니다.
