《2026학년도 1학기 글로벌자율학부 제1전공 배정신청 안내》

전공배정 대상자는 아래의 내용을 참고하여 기간 내에 반드시 신청하시기 바랍니다.

1. 신청 기간: 2025년 12월 31일(수) 11시 ~ 2026년 1월 9일(금) 16시

2. 신청방법: 포탈(KUPID) → [학적/졸업] → [전공배정 신청]

- 24시간 입력 및 수정 가능 (최종 확인 후에는 반드시 저장을 클릭해야 함)

- 전공 배정 희망 학과는 1개만 선택 가능

3. 전공 배정 발표: 2026년 1월 26일 (월)

4. 제1전공 배정신청 대상: 

 - 글로벌자율학부 2024학년도 입학생 중 1학년 첫 학기와 두 번째 학기를 등록하고 재학 중인 학생

- 2025학년도 2학기 글로벌자율학부 제1전공 미배정자

5. 제1전공 배정 기준

전공 배정을 위한 한국어 능력 기준은 다음과 같다.

1) TOPIK 5급 이상 또는 본교 학부대학의 한국어 집중교육과정 한국어고급Ⅰ과목을 이수한 경우: 제1전공 배정

2) TOPIK 4급 또는 본교 학부대학의 한국어집중교육과정 한국어중급Ⅱ 과목을 이수한 경우: 제1전공 배정이 가능하나 전공과목을 정규 학기당 6학점까지만 수강 가능

3) TOPIK 3급 이하: 제1전공 배정 불가

한국어 능력 기준을 충족하지 못하였더라도, 영어 능력에 따라 전공 배정이 가능하며, 그 기준은 다음과 같다.

1) IELTS 7.0 이상 또는 TOEFL IBT 100점 이상: 제 1전공 배정

2) IELTS 6.5 이상 또는 TOEFL IBT 90~99점: 제 1전공 배정 가능하나 전공과목을 정규 학기당 6학점까지만 수강 가능

3) IELTS 6.0 이하 또는 TOEFL IBT 89점 이하: 제1전공 배정 불가

4) 영어권 국가에서 초, 중, 고등학교 정규교육과정을 이수하였거나 해외 국제학교 졸업자: 제1전공 배정

다만, 영어 능력 기준에 따른 전공 배정 가능한 학과(부)는 별도로 규정한다.

7. 한국어/영어 능력 기준 제출 기한: ~1월 9일(금)

**입학 전 제출하신 한국어/영어 성적보다 더 높은 성적이 있으실 경우에 한하여 제출하시길 바랍니다.**

《Notice on Application for First Major Assignment – Spring 2026, GOMD》

Students eligible for major assignment must refer to the following information and complete their application within the designated period.

1. Application Period: December 31 (Wed), 2025 – January 9 (Fri), 2026

2. How to Apply: Portal (KUPID) → [Academic Records/Graduation] → [Major Assignment Application]

  -  Available for input and modification 24 hours a day (Be sure to click Save after final confirmation)

  - Only one desired major department can be selected

3. Announcement of Results: January 26 (Mon), 2026

4. Eligibility: 

1) GOMD students who entered in the 2024 academic year, completed both the first and second semesters of their first year, and are currently enrolled

2) GOMD students who have not yet been assigned a major as of Fall 2025

5. Major Assignment Criteria

Korean Proficiency Requirements:

1) Students with TOPIK Level 5 or higher, or who completed the Advanced Korean I course at Korea University: First-choice of major will be assigned.

2) Students with TOPIK Level 4 or who have completed "Intermediate Korean II" course at Korea University : First-choice of major will be assigned, but you can only take 6 credits of major courses per one semester.

3) Students with TOPIK Level 3 or below: Entering the major you apply is not possible.

Students who do not meet the Korean proficiency requirements may still qualify for major placement based on their English proficiency:

1) Students with IELTS 7.0 or higher, or TOEFL IBT 100 or higher: First-choice of major will be assigned.

2) Students with IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL IBT 90–99: First-choice of major will be assigned, but you can only take 6 credits of major courses per one semester.

3) Students with IELTS 6.0 or lower, or TOEFL IBT 89 or lower: Entering the major you apply is not possible.

4) Completed elementary, middle, or high school education in an English-speaking country or graduated from an international school abroad: First-choice of major will be assigned

Please note that the departments that can be assigned to majors based on English proficiency are determined separately.

**Please submit your Korean/English result if you have achieved a higher score compared to what you submitted before admission**
