장학생 선발 기준 및 제출 서류는 다음과 같습니다.
Ⅰ. 선발기준:
1.글로벌한국융합학부 외국인 신입생 및 외국인 재학생
2.한국의 역사,정치경제,사회,문화에 대한 향학열이 높은 자
3.고급 한국어를 구사할 수 있는 자
-지원 당시 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 5급 이상 우대
-직전 성적 평점3.5이상,취득학점이12학점 이상인 재학생(신입생에게는 적용하지 않음)
4.연속 지원 시에는 한국어 능력이 향상된 자
5.학부장 또는 지도교수가 추천하는 자
Ⅱ.제출서류
1.장학금 신청서1부
2.한국어능력 증명서1부
3.성적증명서1부(재학생 해당)
4.국문으로 작성된 자기소개서(글로벌한국학 관련 활동 내역 필수 포함-한국어 능력함양,전공 분야 교내외 리더십 활동 등) 1부
5.학부장 또는 지도교수 추천서1부
Ⅲ.결격사유
1. 장학금 신청학기에 등록하지 않은 학생
2. 직전학기 성적평점이3.5미만인 학생(신입생에게는 적용하지 않음)
3. 학사징계 전력이 있는 자
4. 직전학기에12학점 미만을 취득했거나9학기이상 등록한 학생(신입생에게는 적용하지 않음)
We are now accepting applications for the Seongjae Scholarship for the Spring semester of 2025.
★Application Period : April 14 (Mon) – April 23 (Wed)
Please submit the required documents directly to the administration office or via email to dis@korea.ac.kr as one combined file.
(If submitting by email, please use the following format for the subject line: [Seongjae Scholarship Application] Student ID, Name)
I. Eligibility Criteria:
1. International freshmen and currently enrolled international students in the Department of Global Korean Studies
2. Profound interest in Korea’s history, politics, economy, society, and culture
3. Advanced Korean language proficiency
• Preference given to those with TOPIK level 5 or higherat the time of application
• For current students (not applicable to freshmen): GPA of 3.5 or abovein the previous semester, with at least 12 credits earned
4. For reapplicants, improved Korean language ability is required
5. Must be recommended by the Department Chair or an academic advisor
II. Required Documents:
1. Scholarship Application Form[The first file which is attached below]
2. A copy of Korean Language Proficiency Certificate
3. A copy of Academic Transcript(only for currently enrolled students)
4. A copy of a self-introduction written in Korean, which must include activities related to Global Korean Studies (e.g., efforts to improve Korean language skills, leadership roles in or outside of campus related to the major)
5. Recommendation Letter by the Department Chair or academic advisor [The second file which is attached below]
III. Disqualification Conditions:
1. Students who are not registered for the semester in which they are applying for the scholarship
2. Students with a GPA below 3.5 in the previous semester (not applicable to freshmen)
3. Students with any academic disciplinary record
4. Students who earned less than 12 creditsin the previous semester or are in their 9th semester or beyond(not applicable to freshmen)
