[CAMPUS Asia & BK21 ] 2025 CAMPUS Asia Plus Summer Internship in Laos


The CAMPUS Asia Plus Program and BK21 Program of Glocal Studies are pleased to announce this year’s two-week summer short-term program in Laos. Starting from 2024, internships have become available in collaboration with the National University of Laos (NUOL), hosted by international organizations located in Vientiane. From August 10th to 23rd, selected students for the two-week internship program will receive a certain amount of support for airfare and living expenses. This year’s summer internship coincides with the CAMPUS Asia Symposium to be hosted by Kobe University and NUOL in Lao PDR (to be held on August 21). This event invites students from all five partner universities[1] of CAMPUS Asia Plus Program to present their research proposals regarding subjects related to “Risk management in Asia” across diverse scholarly disciplines and professional fields concerning global and regional risks confronting Asia. Therefore, we are interested in selecting students who are interested in both events. 

  1. Eligibility: 2 to 5 individuals among current students of the Graduate School of International Studies, Korea University, depending on the candidates’ fitness with the receiving organization (Note: Nationalities of South Korea, Japan, China, or ASEAN member countries)
  2. Internship opportunity (2 weeks, August 11 – 22): Internship is available at UNICEF Lao PDR (Additional organizations may be added)
  3. Symposium presentation (1-day, August 21): Approximately 2 of the selected students will be given the opportunity to present at the symposium.
  4. Required Documents: (1) Attached Application Form, (2) English CV (1 page) *Shortlisted students will later be asked to submit a cover letter.

여름 단기 프로그램: 라오스 현지 인턴십 참가학생 모집


CAMPUS Asia Plus 프로그램과 BK21 국제학 교육연구단 프로그램에서 올해 2주간의 라오스 여름 단기 프로그램을 안내해 드립니다. 2024년부터는 라오스국립대와의 협력 하에 라오스 수도 비엔티안에 위치한 국제기구에서의 인턴십이 가능해졌습니다. 8월 10일부터 23일까지, 2주간의 인턴십 프로그램에 선발된 학생들에게는 항공료 및 체류 비용 일부를 지원할 예정입니다. 올해 여름 인턴십은 CAMPUS Asia 프로그램의 5개 협력 대학 (고려대학교, 고베대학교, 후단대학교, 쭐라롱꼰대학교, 라오스국립대학교) 학생들이 "Risk Management in Asia"와 관련된 다양한 분야의 연구를 발표하는CAMPUS Asia 심포지엄(8월 21일 개최, 고베대/라오스국립대 공동주최)과 같은 기간이 열리므로 두 행사 모두에 관심이 있는 학생들을 선발하고자 합니다.


  1. 지원 대상: 고려대학교 국제대학원 재학생 약 2-5명 (단, 한국, 일본, 중국 또는 ASEAN 회원국 국적)
  2. 인턴십 (2주간, 8월 11-22): UNICEF 라오스 사무소 (다른 기관이 추가될 수 있음)
  3. CAMPUS Asia 심포지엄 발표(8월 21일): 선발된 학생 중 약 2명 참가 
  4. 제출 서류: (1) 첨부된 지원서, (2) 영문 CV (1페이지) *1차 선발된 학생들에 한해 차후 커버레터 제출 
  5. 접수 기간: 2025년 5월 2일(금) 오전 11시까지
