CAMPUS Asia Culture Event: 한-일 문화교류의 밤
“막걸리와 한일관계 (Makgeolli and Korea-Japan Relations)”
CAMPUS Asia Plus Program is pleased to organize a CAMPUS Asia Culture Event on April 30. The contemporary artist Kosuke Nagata (Kanagawa, Japan) is well-known for his artwork that explores fascinating boundaries between human/non-human, technology/senses, and language/culture through his captivating photography, video, installations, and culinary performances. Don't miss his thought-provoking film "Fire in Water," previously showcased at Tokyo's prestigious Yebisu International Festival. The screening includes an illuminating dialogue with Director Nagata himself and Professor Taewoong Kang (Department of Northeast Asian Culture Industries at Kwangwoon University) examining the rich complexities of Korea-Japan relations through this artistic lens!
Screening of "Fire in Water (映像のみ)" will be followed by a dialogue with Director and discussion with a Korean expert on Japanese culture, exploring new perspectives on Korea-Japan relations through cultural works.
Time/Date: 5PM – 6:15PM, April 30
