안녕하십니까,
유엔 경제사회처(UN DESA) 산하 유엔거버넌스센터(United Nations Project Office on Governance, UNPOG)가 개최하는 제 10회 리저널 심포지엄에 귀하를 정중히 초청합니다.
이번 심포지엄은 2026년 11월 25일부터 27일까지 10th Regional Symposium on Effective Governance and AI Transformation: Revitalizing Public Institutions through Innovation and Cooperation to Accelerate Action towards the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development 를 주제로 인천 송도에서 개최될 예정입니다.
본 심포지엄에서는 점차 자율화되는 AI 시스템(Agentic AI)과 관련된 새로운 거버넌스 과제, AI 및 디지털 격차, 그리고 데이터 거버넌스, 공공부문 역량 및 관리·감독(Human Oversight) 강화의 필요성을 살펴볼 예정입니다.
아울러 혁신과 협력을 통하여 공공기관의 민첩성과 책임성을 높이고 미래 대응 역량을 강화하여 2030 지속가능발전 의제 달성을 가속화할 수 있는 방안을 논의하고자 합니다.
유엔거버넌스센터 설립 20주년을 기념하는 자리이기도 한 이번 심포지엄은, 공공기관 강화를 위해 지난 20년간 기울여 온 노력을 되돌아보고 2030년 이후의 새로운 거버넌스 우선과제들을 내다보는 기회가 될 것입니다.

United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs and its Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government, through its Project Office on Governance (UNPOG) is pleased to invite you to join the 10th Regional Symposium on Effective Governance and AI Transformation: Revitalizing Public Institutions through Innovation and Cooperation to Accelerate Action towards the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, taking place on 25 – 27 November 2026 in Incheon, Republic of Korea, and virtual.
 
Under the theme “Revitalizing Public Institutions through Innovation and Cooperation to Accelerate Action towards the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, the Symposium aims to serve as a regional platform for policy dialogue, peer learning, capacity development and cooperation to support Member States in revitalizing public institutions in Asia and the Pacific in response to rapid technological and societal change. 
 
The Symposium will also examine emerging governance challenges associated with increasingly agentic AI systems, AI and digital divides, and the need to strengthen data governance, public sector capabilities and human oversight. Discussions will consider how innovation and cooperation can support more agile, accountable and future-ready public institutions and accelerate progress towards the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and beyond.
 
The 10th Regional Symposium also marks the 20th Anniversary of DPIDG/UNPOG, providing an opportunity to reflect on two decades of work to strengthen public institutions and to look ahead to emerging governance priorities beyond 2030.
