[MA] (~3/4,2024) Advanced Seminar Course Registration Request Form

국제대학원 석사과정이 위 박사과정 고급세미나를 수강하기 위해서는 신청서류를 행정실에 별도 제출해야 합니다. 수강을 희망한다면, 다음 내용을 참고하시기 바랍니다.
1. 수강방법
1) 석사과정 1-2학기 또는 석사과정 3학기 이상 & 평균평점 4.0 미만 :
- 교과목 담당교수로부터사전 수강승인을 받은 후에, 학생 본인이 수강신청/정정 기간 내 수강신청을 해야 함.
- 붙임의 신청서에 담당교수의 확인(날인 또는 서명)을 받아, 제출기간 내 신청서와 성적증명서를 행정실로 이메일(gsis@korea.ac.kr) 제출.
※ 날인 또는 서명을 직접 받기 어려운 경우, 승인 이메일을 gsis@korea.ac.kr 으로 전달(FWD)할 수 있음.
2) 석사과정 3학기 이상 & 평균평점 4.0 이상 :
- 교과목 담당교수의사전 수강승인이 없어도학생 본인이 수강신청/정정 기간 내 수강신청이 가능함.
- 붙임의 신청서에 담당교수의 확인(날인 또는 서명)을 받아, 제출기간 내 신청서와 성적증명서를 행정실로 이메일(gsis@korea.ac.kr) 제출.
※ 날인 또는 서명을 직접 받기 어려운 경우, 승인 이메일을 gsis@korea.ac.kr 으로 전달(FWD)할 수 있음.
2. 제출기간 : 2024년 2월 28일(수) ~ 3월 4일(월)
3. 유의사항
원칙적으로 석사과정 학생이 박사과정 고급세미나를 수강할 경우 일반선택 학점으로 인정됩니다. 단, 수강한 고급세미나 과목이 석사과정 전공과 일치할 경우 전공 학점으로 인정 가능합니다.
※전공 학점 인정 가능 예시
- 국제평화안보 전공 석사과정생이 IAC752 고급국제평화안보세미나Ⅱ를 수강한 경우
- 국제개발협력 전공 석사과정생이 IAC711 고급국제개발협력세미나Ⅰ를 수강한 경우 등

To take a PhD Advanced Seminar, a Master's student must submit the related documents to the GSIS Administration Office. Please refer to the details below.
1. Course Registration
1) Master's student of First/Second semester or who has completed at least two semesters & CGPA less than 4.0 :
- You must register the course with the professor's prior approval during the Course Registration and/or the Course Add/Drop Period.
- You must submit the form (attachment) with your transcript to gsis@korea.ac.kr during the Submission Period.
※ The professor's original signature or stamp on the form is preferred, however an email approval is also acceptable. Please forward the email approval to gsis@korea.ac.kr.
2) Master's student who has completed at least two semesters & CGPA 4.0 or above :
- You may register the course without the professor's prior approval during the Course Registration and/or the Course Add/Drop Period.
- You must submit the form (attachment) with your transcript to gsis@korea.ac.kr during the Submission Period.
※ The professor's original signature or stamp on the form is preferred, however an email approval is also acceptable. Please forward the email approval to gsis@korea.ac.kr.
2. Submission Period : February 28 (Wed) ~ March 4 (Mon)
3. Credit Recognition
Advanced Seminar course is recognized as General Elective for Master's studnet. But it can be recognized as Major if Advanced Seminar course corresponds to one's major of MA program.
※Example of being recognized as Major
- When Master's student in International Peace and Security takes IAC752 ADVANCED SEMINAR IN INTERNATIONAL PEACE AND SECURITY Ⅱ
- When Master's student in International Development and Cooperation takes IAC711 ADVANCED SEMINAR IN INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND COOPERATION Ⅰ
