1. 응시자격
- 2019 후기 신입생 중에서 공통선택 과목과 유사한 과목을 학부에서 수강한 자로서, 본 시험에 신청 후에 응시 대상자로 선정된 자
(시험을 신청했더라도 응시 대상자로 선정이 되지 않으면 응시할 수 없음)
2. 응시과목
1) 국제학과: 국제경영, 국제경제, 국제정치 중 1과목 또는 2과목을 선택
2) 한국학과: 한국근대사
3. 신청서류
1) 공통과목 면제시험 신청서: 공통과목면제시험신청서
2) 면제요청과목 강의계획서
3) 전적대학 성적표
4. 응시료: 응시료 없음
5. 입학 직전 1회만 응시 가능. 단, 입학 첫 학기에 휴학할 경우 복학하는 학기에 응시 불가.
6. 시험 시간: 과목당 75분
7. 과목당 80/100점 이상 취득 시 합격, PASS (또는 P)로 성적 표기(평점평균에 미포함)
8. 지원방법: 신청서류를 구비하여, 기간 내 행정실로 방문제출(국제관 223호) 또는 이메일(gsis@korea.ac.kr) 제출

2019 Fall - Application for the Waiver Exam of Core Courses
o Application Period: Monday, August 19, 2019 ~ Wednesday, August 21, 2019
o Announcement of Candidates: Results will be emailed to each applicant on Thursday, August 22, 2019.
o Date of Exam: Monday, August 26, 2019 14:00 - TBC
o Exam Results Release Date: Results will be emailed to each applicant on Monday, September 2, 2019. - TBC
1. Qualification of Exam:
- Newly admitted students in 2019 Fall semester who have taken the similar courses in collge/university may apply for this exam;
however, the candidates for the exam will be decided by KU GSIS.
(If the applicants do not get permissions from KU GSIS, they cannot take the exam)
2. Subjects of Exam
1) Internatioanl Studies: International Business, International Economics, World Politics - Choose 1 or 2 Subject(s)
2) Korean Studies: Modern History of Korea
3. Required Documents

3) Transcript
4. Application Fee: None
5. Students may apply only once before the their first semester.
If a student takes leave in the first semester, he/she cannot apply for this exam on the returning semester.
6. Duration of Exam: 75 mins per subject
7. Passing Score: More than 80/100 points per subject; PASS (or P) will be written on the transcript and it is not included in GPA.
