In his function as Korea University’s Deputy Vice President for International Affairs, Professor Robert Rudolf visited four European universities in Germany and the Netherlands as well as represented KU at the 33rd Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition in Rotterdam at the end of last month.

In Germany, Professor Rudolf visited the University of Tübingen, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and the University of Stuttgart to discuss about existing and future ways of collaboration. In the Netherlands, Prof. Rudolf met with the Institute of International Studies, which is part of Erasmus University Rotterdam, and is a major hub for development studies in Europe.

Together with two Korean colleagues from KU’s Office of International Affairs, Professor Rudolf represented Korea University at this year’s EAIE Conference and Exhibition, the second largest university fair in the world. EAIE 2023 was attended by 6700 participants from over 100 countries. During the 3-day event, Professor Rudolf and his colleagues held talks with over 30 universities from all five continents. On behalf of Korea University, several new international MOUs and student exchange agreements were agreed on. In addition, opportunities for international research collaboration were discussed with selected partner institutions.
