국제대학원 내국인 박사과정 및 외국인 수료연구생의 등록 안내

1. 국제대학원 수료연구생 제도

 가. 2017학년도부터 시행되고 있는 국제대학원 수료연구생 제도에 따라 
    국제대학원 내국인 박사과정(2018학년도 1학기부터) 수료생과 외국인(2018학년도 2학기부터) 석/박사 수료생은 등록기간에 맞추어 등록금을 납부하고 ‘수료연구지도’(본인의 지도교수님 수업) 과목을 수강신청 하여야만 “수료연구생”의 신분을 유지할 수 있습니다.

 나. 수료연구생에게는 재학생에 준하는 학교시설(도서관, 세미나실 등) 이용 및 각종 연구활동의 참여기회를 보장하며, 등록기간이 끝나면 수료연구 등록을 한 수료생은 학적 상태가 “수료연구”로 바뀝니다.

 다. “수료연구생”으로 등록하지 않는 경우 학적 상태가 “수료생”으로 표기되며 학교시설(도서관, 세미나실 등) 이용이 불가합니다. (“수료생”이 별도로 도서관 연회비를 납부한 경우에는 도서관 이용 가능)

 
2. 수료연구등록금(국제대학원 수업료의 2% – 약 127,000원)

 가. 대상자: 국제대학원 박사과정 수료생, 및 외국인 석/박사 수료생

※ 내국인 박사과정의 경우, 학위논문 제출학기에는 필수적으로 수료연구 등록을 해야 합니다.

 나. 납부방법: 포털 → 등록/장학 → 등록금고지서 출력

 다. 등록기간

– 정규등록기간: 8월 23일(금) 09:00 ~ 8월 30일(금) 16:00
– 최종등록기간: 9월 10일(화) 09:00 ~ 9월 17일(화) 16:00

 
※ 학위논문 제출 학기에 있는 수료연구생의 경우, 등록기간에 먼저 수업료의 2%를 납부하여 등록을 완료하고 논문심사 신청 이후에 수업료의 5%를 추가 납부합니다.
※ 고지서가 정상적으로 출력되지 않는 경우 행정실로 연락 바랍니다.

The Enrollment of Completed-Research for Korean Students of Doctoral Degree and International Students of Master/Doctoral Degree

1. Completed-Research Student

 1) In accordance with the ‘Completed-Research Student Program’ of Graduate School of International Studies, which has been in effect since 2017, all international completed-research students who have completed the course work 
  MUST register ‘Tutorial Research after Completion’ under the name of your advisor and pay tuition fees to maintain the status of a ‘Completed-Research Student’ from Fall semester 2018.

 2) This is for international completed-research students in order to stay in Korea with valid period of stay & student visa (D-2), for continuation of preparation for thesis/research for graduation after completion. If you are not going to register this coming semester, please remember that your student visa (D-2) will be invalidated as soon as it is reported to the Immigration Office about your student status. 
 You will be required to make a departure within 15 days from the day of report.

 3) After the registration period, the status of an enrolled student will be changed to ‘Completed-Research Student’ and will be ensured the opportunity to participate in research activities and use the school facilities (including the library and seminar room).

 4) If you are not enrolled as a ‘Completed-Research Student’, your status will remain as a ‘Completed Student’ and you will not be able to use the school facilities (including the library and seminar room). (You can use the library only after you pay the annual fee.)

2. Tuition Fees for ‘Completed-Research Student’ (2% of GSIS Tuition Fee - Approx. 127,000 KRW)

 1) ‘Completed-Research Students’ of all international students at KU GSIS

 2) Payment Method: KUPID → Scholarship Application → Print Tuition Payment Stub

 3) Payment Period

 – Regular Payment: Friday, August 23, 2019 9:00 ~ Friday, August 30, 2019 16:00
 – Final Payment: Tuesday, September 10, 2019 9:00 ~ Tuesday, September 17, 2019 16:00

 
※ In case of students in the semester of submitting thesis, please pay 2% of GSIS tuition fees first during the regular/final payment period and pay 5% of GSIS tuition fees after submitting thesis submission application documents.

※ If you have a problem in printing out the tuition payment bill, please contact to GSIS Administration Office.
