의회식 영어토론 학회 KUDC (Korea University Debate Club)
고려대학교의 유일한 의회식 영어토론 학회, Korea University Debate Club을 소개합니다! 디베이트는 의회식 영어토론 형식에 따라 찬반측을 나누어 토론하고 승리팀을 가리는 지적 스포츠입니다. 디베이트를 통해 KUDC에서 영어실력은 물론, 논리력, 시사상식 등을 기를 수 있습니다!
1. KUDC의 정기 행사와 일정
학기 중에는 화요일과 목요일 저녁 7~10시 주 2회 세션을 진행합니다. 화요일은 토론 규칙과 주제 등에 대한 강의를 진행한 후 토론을 하고, 목요일은 토론과 피드백, 그리고 KUDC만의 뒤풀이가 있습니다. 정기 세션은 기본적으로 오프라인으로 진행되며, 코로나가 심화될 경우 온라인으로 진행할 예정입니다.
2. 다른 대학, 학과 친구들을 사귀고 싶다면?
KUDC는 국제학부 소속 동아리이지만, 현재 경영, 경제, 자전, 영문, 독문, 일문, 전기전자공학, 물리 등 다양한 과의 부원들이 활동하고 있습니다. 또한, KUDC는 전국대학생영어토론총연합(Korea Intervarsity Debate Association, KIDA)에 소속되어 있습니다. 서울대, 연세대, 서강대, 성균관대, 한양대, 이화여대 등 타 대학의 학생들과 함께 국내외 대회에 참여하며 토론할 수 있습니다.
3. 여행을 좋아한다면?
KUDC에서는 국제대회에 참가하면서 자연스럽게 세계 각국으로 여행을 떠납니다! 지금까지 네덜란드, 멕시코, 일본 등 다양한 나라에서 대회에 참여하며 추억을 쌓았습니다. 작년에는 코로나19로 인해 많은 대회가 온라인으로 진행됐으나, 코로나 종식 후에도 많은 국제대회에 참여할 예정입니다.
4. KUDC의 수상 실적
KUDC의 수상 실적은 과거로부터 거슬러 오면 셀 수 없이 많지만, 가장 최근인 2022년도 1학기에는 전국대학생영어토론총연합 주최 신인 영어토론대회 우승과 전국대학생 영어토론대회 우승을 달성했습니다! KUDC의 더 많은 활동 모습이 궁금하다면 KUDC 페이스북 페이지 및 KUDC 인스타그램(@kudc_official)을 참고해주세요!
Let me introduce KUDC(Korea University Debate Club), Korea University's only parliamentary English debate society! Debate is an intellectual sport that divides the pros and cons according to the format of parliamentary English debate and determines the winning team. Through debate, you can develop not only English skills, but also logic and current affairs in KUDC!
1. Regular events and schedules of KUDC
During the semester, sessions are held twice a week from 7 to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesday, we have a lecture on discussion rules and topics, and on Thursday, we have a round of debate, feedback, and a KUDC after party. Regular sessions are basically held offline, and we will proceed online if COVID-19 intensifies.
2. If you want to make friends from other universities and departments?
KUDC is a club belonging to the international department, but members of various departments such as business, economy, English, German, Japanese, electrical and electronic engineering, and physics are currently active. Also, KUDC is affiliated with the Korea Intervarsity Debate Association (KIDA). Students from other universities such as Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Sogang University, Sungkyunkwan University, Hanyang University, and Ewha Women’s University can participate in and discuss domestic and foreign competitions.
3. If you like to travel?
At KUDC, you naturally travel to countries around the world while participating in international competitions! Until now, we have made memories by participating in competitions in various countries such as the Netherlands, Mexico, and Japan. Last year, many competitions were held online due to COVID-19, but we will participate in many international competitions even after the end of COVID-19.
4. KUDC's award performance
KUDC's awards are countless from the past, but most recently, in the first semester of 2022, they won the KIDA Rookie Tournament and KIDA National Championships!!

국제기구학회 KIOSS (Korea University International Organizations Student Society)
KIOSS는 Korea University International Organizations Student Society로, 국제 이슈와 국제기구에 대한 탐구 및 토론을 진행하는 학회입니다. “큰 무대를 꿈꾸며 세계로 나아가는 자들의 학회”라는 슬로건을 바탕으로 KIOSS는 비슷한 관심사를 가진 사람들과 함께 국제무대에 대해 다방면으로 연구할 수 있는 배경을 마련합니다.
KIOSS는 매주 수요일 7시, 국제정치와 관련된 주제로 함께 토론/토의하는 세션을 진행합니다. 직접 한 국가의 역할을 맡아 입장을 대변하는 모의 유엔식 토론을 진행하기도 하며, 국제관계에 대해 탐구하는 등 다양한 세션으로 활발한 학회 활동을 이어나가고 있습니다. 나아가 매 방학마다, 국내 최고 수준 모의유엔인 KMUN(Korea Model United Nations), MUNCCC (Climate Change Conference)를 개최합니다. 학회원들은 사묵국으로서 본 대회를 직접 개최하며 국제 기구의 역할과 현안에 대해 탐구하고, 국제 무대에 대한 지식을 기를 수 있습니다. 가장 최근 행사인 MUNCCC 2022는 산림청의 지원을 받아 국제 환경 문제에 대해 심도 있는 토론을 진행할 수 있는 기회를 마련하였고, 성공적으로 마무리 되었습니다.
또한, KIOSS는 사회 곳곳에 진출하신 든든한 OB분들과의 커넥션도 유지하고 있습니다. 매 해 연말, 연초에 KIOSS OB Homecoming, Year End 등의 행사를 개최하여 선배님들께 많은 조언과 도움을 얻을 수 있습니다. 매달 인스타그램에 업로드 되는 OB report와 매해 열리는 OB 진로 세미나 등을 통해서도 KIOSS는 OB분들과의 연결을 꾸준히 이어나가고 있습니다. (@kioss_official)
KIOSS, Korea University International Organizations Student Society, is a place where students can debate and discuss international issues and international organizations. Under the slogan that reads “Student Society for those who dream big and progress into the global stage,” KIOSS provides a background where students with similar interests can study the international stage in various ways.
KIOSS meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. and has a debate/discussion session regarding international politics. The sessions include MUN (Model United Nations) sessions, group study sessions on international relationships, and more. Moreover, KIOSS hosts KMUN (Korea Model United Nations) and MUNCCC (Climate Change Conference) every summer and winter. By working as a secretariat, students can study the role of international organizations regarding current international issues and broaden their knowledge on the international stage. The most recent conference, MUNCCC 2022 ended with great success with the support from the Korea Forest Service, providing participants with an opportunity to discuss deeply current environmental issues.
In addition, KIOSS has maintained close connections with the OBs, including those with great accomplishments. Every year, we host Year End and Homecoming parties where students can meet and have meaningful conversations with the alumni. 축구 동아리 FC KUDIS (Football Club KUDIS)
FC KUDIS (Football Club KUDIS)는 고려대학교 국제학부 대표 축구 동아리로서, 학부 설립과 함께 이어져 내려오고 있는 명실상부한 운동 동아리입니다. 교내 다양한 축구 대회 뿐만 아니라 매년 다른 학교 국제학부 대항 국제학부컵에도 참가하며, 활발한 활동을 전개하고 있습니다. 뿐만 아니라, FC KUDIS는 재학생과 졸업생이 모두 자유롭게 경기에 참여하는 만큼, 선배님들과의 끈끈한 관계를 자랑하고 있습니다. 또한, 매년 FC 멤버십 트레이닝을 진행하며, 선후배 모두 모여 결속력을 다지는 기회를 가지고 있습니다.
많이 해보지 않았어도 괜찮고 우승이 아닌 ‘모두가 즐기는 재밌는 경기’를 만드는 것이 목표입니다. 저희는 보통 한달에 한번 모여서 다양한 학번의 국제학부 선후배들과 함께 축구나 풋살 경기를 진행합니다.

FC KUDIS (Football Club KUDIS) is the representative soccer team for the Division of International Studies. At FC, we allow DIS students with a passion for soccer to enjoy the sport in a fun and relaxed environment with fellow peers, juniors, and seniors. FC participates in soccer and futsal matches within the team, as well as against other Korea University soccer clubs. We also compete in an annual tournament against other schools’ International Studies soccer teams. FC KUDIS prides itself as an avenue for DIS students to meet and socialize with seniors on and off the pitch at social events, which include team dinners and Membership Training. We usually get together once a month on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday to enjoy a game of soccer or futsal.

밴드 동아리 DISchord
국제학부의 유일무이 밴드 동아리인 DISchord는 “처음엔 불협화음(dischord)일지라도, 우리만의 화음(DISchord)을 만들어가는 밴드” 라는 뜻을 가지고 있습니다! DISchord는 국제학부 유일무이 밴드 동아리로, 합주 및 공연 활동에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 코로나로 인하여 온라인 공연을 진행하고 정기적으로 공식 유튜브 채널에 촬영 영상을 업로드하여 열심히 활동을 이어나가고 있습니다! 밴드 활동 뿐만이 아니라 좋은 사람들과 과 생활을 즐길 수 있는 좋은 기회라는 장점도 있습니다! 자세한 활동 영상은 유튜브 채널 (KUDISCHORD)를 확인해주세요 : )
DISchord is KUDIS/KUCIS’ one and only band! Underlying the process of overcoming discord and creating our own harmony, "DISchord" is a tight-knit group of music enthusiasts! DISchord meets on a regular basis to practice. Due to COVID—19, DISchord has temporarily converted to online concerts and uploads covers on our YouTube channel! Not only is DISchord a great opportunity for members to improve their musical skills, it is also a place to befriend and get to know fellow KUDIS/KUCIS students. 댄스 동아리 DISTRICT 23
DISTRICT 23은 국제학부 유일 댄스동아리로서, 다양한 국적을 가진 학생들이 춤으로 하나가 되는 즐거움을 나누고 있습니다! 학과, 학년, 성별, 국적에 관계없이 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 춤을 잘 추지 못하더라도 춤을 배우고자 하는 열정이 있다면 함께할 수 있습니다. K-POP 안무, 코레오, 힙합 등을 주로 다루며, 창작 안무나 새로운 장르의 즐거움을 공유하고 싶어하는 부원이 있다면 함께 도전하기도 합니다.
주요 활동으로는 정기 연습, 안무 커버 영상 촬영, 서울의 유명 관광지를 배경으로 인스타그램 동영상 릴스 촬영, 멤버십트레이닝 등의 친목 도모 활동이 진행되고 있습니다. 특히 각종 촬영 활동에서는 부원들과 꾸준히 연습해온 안무로 멋진 영상을 남기며 좋은 추억을 쌓을 수 있습니다. DISTRICT 23은 앞으로도 이와 같은 다양한 활동들을 모든 부원들이 자신의 춤을 당당히 선보일 수 있도록, 또한 조화와 다양성의 가치를 춤을 통해 실현해낼 수 있도록 꾸준히 진행할 예정입니다.
DISTRICT 23 exists as the sole dance club in the Division of International Studies, where students of various nationalities share the joy of unification via dancing. Anyone is welcomed regardless of major, grade, gender, or nationality, the only requirement is a passion for dancing. DISTRICT 23 mainly works on KPOP choreographies, hip-hop, and other various genres that any member wishes to dance.
DISTRICT 23’s major activities include regular weekly practices, filming dance cover videos, Instagram Reels shootings, as well as Membership Training events that foster socializing. We support socializing activities of DISTRICT 23 members thus it would be a great chance to make good memories by shooting dance cover videos. DISTRICT 23 will continue to carry out various activities like these so all members could unite and realize the value of harmony and diversity through the single passion of ‘dancing’.
