Special Lecture from the World Bank Group:

Path Finder Series #2

RSVP Mandatory: Please note there is a quick pre-survey in the RSVP. As the Path Finder series serves the aim of CAMPUS Asia to provide practical skills, we ask participants to join the CAMPUS Asia survey to identify practical skills required in job postings of your current/future interest. Those who already did the survey can just come or feel free to do another one. Those who haven’t done it until lecture day (May 14), please just come! You can simply do the survey after the lecture.

Lecture Introduction: Supported by the CAMPUS Asia Plus Program and BK21 Program of Glocal Studies, this Path Finder Series will feature a special lecture by Mr. Kevin Yunil Kim, who is the Partnership, Project, and Knowledge Management Team Lead at the World Bank Group Korea Office. Under the key topic of “What Skills Are Needed to Work in International Organizations", Mr. Kim will talk to us about his work at the World Bank Group Korea Office, discuss ways to explore opportunities in the related field, and highlight what skills we need to develop in order to work in international organizations like the World Bank Group.

Mr. Kim has a master’s from KU GSIS (IDC major) and has a bachelor’s from Johns Hopkins University. He is currently a PhD candidate at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies focusing on environmental health policies. Prior to joining the World Bank Group Korea office, he worked for the Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation and the United Nations Development Program.
