1. 국제대학 집행 기구 소개
Introduction of College of International Studies Administrative Structure
본교 국제대학 학생 사회에는 국제학부 학생회, 글로벌융합학부 학생회, 그리고 국제대학 학생회의 총 세 개의 집행기구가 존재합니다. 세 학생회의 선거는 개별적으로 이루어지며, 매년 11월 정기 선거 또는 3월 보궐 선거를 통해 당선된 회장단이 5개의 국서로 집행위원회를 구성하여 각 국서의 국장 및 국원들과 함께 약 1년간의 임기를 수행합니다.
There are a total of three administrative bodies in Korea University College of International Studies: the student council of the Division of International Studies (DIS), the Division of Global Korean Studies (DGKS), and the College of International Studies (CIS). The elections of the three student councils are held individually. The presidency elected through regular elections in November or a special election in March each year forms an administrative structure with 5 departments. The elected presidency serves for about a year with the head and members of each department.
국제대학 학생회는 국제관 시설 및 국제대학 생활 전반을 담당하며, 각종 사업을 기획하고, 주요 안내 사항을 산하 학부 학생회에 전달하는 역할을 합니다. 또한, 국제대학 학생회장은 단과대학 대표자의 자격으로 본교 총학생회 중앙운영위원으로 활동합니다. 국제학부와 글로벌한국융합학부 학생회는 각 학부의 고유한 행사의 기획 및 생활 관리를 담당하며, 학우들에게 중요한 공지를 직접 전달하는 역할을 맡고 있습니다. 세 집행 기구의 학생회장은 모두 본교 전체 학생대표자 회의 대의원의 자격을 지니며, 국제대학 학우 분들의 이익을 최선을 다해 대변하기 위해 노력하고 있습니다.
The CIS student council oversees affairs related to the International Studies Hall and CIS campus life. It also plans various projects and delivers major instructions to the student council of the divisions under CIS. Moreover, as a representative of CIS, the CIS president works as a member of the Korea University student council central administrative committee. The student councils of the DIS and DGKS manage each division’s matters and hold unique events. They also deliver important notices directly to the students. All three presidents of each student council are qualified as a representative in the Korea University student representative conference, and they are trying hard to represent CIS students’ interests as much as possible.
2. 국제대학 학생회
College of International Studies (CIS) Student Council
국제대학 학생회는 국제대학 승격에 따라 2022년 3월에 신설된 집행 기구로, 2023년 3월 초대 학생회장단이 출범하여 임기를 수행하고 있습니다. 본 학생회는 국제대학 산하의 두 학부가 적극적으로 교류하고 소통할 수 있도록 징검다리 역할이 되는 역할에 주안점을 두고 있습니다. 이 뿐 아니라 정기적으로 국제대학 학우의 복지 증진을 위한 다양한 사업을 진행 중에 있습니다.
The CIS Student Council was founded in March 2022, followed by the promotion of the CIS. The first student presidency has been launched and started its term in March 2023. We focus on the role of being a bridge between the two divisions under the CIS so that they can actively interact and communicate. In addition, we regularly conduct various projects to promote the welfare of CIS students.
국제대학 학생회는 또한 정기적으로 국제대학 운영위원회를 개의하여 국제대학 소속 학생회의 건강한 담론장을 만드는 역할을 수행합니다. 해당 회의체에서는 국제대학의 학생 대표자들이 투명하고 효율적으로 상호 견제를 하고 중요한 안건에 대해 논의하거나 협력을 도모합니다.
In addition, the CIS Student Council regularly holds CIS administrative committee meetings to create a healthy forum for the student councils affiliated with CIS. At the conference, student representatives of CIS conduct mutual checks and balances transparently and efficiently, discuss important agenda items, or promote cooperation.
3. 국제학부 학생회
Division of International Studies (DIS) Student Council
국제학부 학생회는 국제학부 학생들의 복지에 이바지하고 학우분들이 꿈꿔왔던 알찬 대학생활을 위해 친목 활동, 설명회 등 다양한 행사를 진행합니다. 또한, 학부 특성 상 세계 곳곳에서 온 학우의 개인적 배경이 다양한 만큼 다함께 융합할 수 있도록 돕습니다.
The DIS student council contributes to the welfare of DIS students as well as holds various events such as social activities and briefing sessions for the fruitful university life that students have dreamed of. In addition, due to the nature of KUDIS, we help students from all over the world fuse together as their personal backgrounds vary.
국제학부에는 여러가지 동아리와 학회가 있습니다. 국제기구학회 KIOSS, 영어토론학회 KUDC, 축구 동아리 FC KUDIS, 댄스 동아리 DISTRICT 23, 밴드 동아리 KUDISCHORD 등에서 취미를 즐길 수 있습니다. 또한, 학생회가 주최하는 행사에서는 다양한 배경의 학우와 상호작용 하면서 화합을 도모합니다.
There are various clubs and academic societies in KUDIS. You can enjoy hobbies in KIOSS, an International Organizations Student Society, an English debate club KUDC, a soccer club FC KUDIS, a dance club DISTRICT 23, or a band club KUDISCHORD. In addition, at events hosted by the student council, we try our best for the interaction of students from various backgrounds to promote harmony.
4. 글로벌한국융합학부 학생회
Division of Global Korean Studies (DGKS) Student Council
글로벌한국융합학부 학생회의 각 국서에서는 학부 홍보, 예결산 관리, 교육 복지, 행사 기획 등의 업무를 담당하여 집행하며, 이를 바탕으로 다양한 학우이 조화를 이루며 생활하는 데 기여하고 있습니다. 특히 외국인 학우가 다수인 만큼, 모두의 권리 신장을 위해 최선을 다하고 있습니다.
Each department of the Global Korean Studies Division's student council oversees promoting the department, managing budget and settlement, educational welfare, and event planning. Based on this, we contribute to harmonizing students’ college life. In particular, we are doing our best to enhance everyone's rights as there are many foreign students.
현재 글로벌한국융합학부는 한국학 관련 학술 동아리 등이 개설 예정 중에 있습니다.추후에는 서로가 한국을 바라보는 시선에 대해 표현하고, 다양한 문화권이 한국과 어떻게 연결되어 있는지 등을 소개하는 행사를 유치할 예정입니다.
Academic clubs related to Korean studies are scheduled to open in the DGKS. In near future, we will host an event to express our new perspectives on Korea and introduce how various cultures are connected to Korea as well.
